In December 2015, one of my colleagues photographed me pointing at the office Christmas tree, and posted it on Facebook. No harm meant, no harm done, but – flipsake – the state of me. I was mildly amused, horrified and bewildered at my plump, middle-aged appearance.
So, after Christmas, I took myself in hand.
I came up with three things I could do which I would help me lose weight, become more healthy, and which I could seamlessly integrate into my life as a matter of easy and natural routine.
The first: give up chocolate. For years, I’d been eating chocolate every evening, just before bedtime. Which all added up to a lot of chocolate over the years.
